<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're an early-stage ambient AI startup building a continuous intelligence system that seamlessly integrates into daily life — helping people offload routine tasks and reclaim their focus for what matters most. We're looking for a <strong>Design Director</strong> to shape how our company is seen and experienced across every touchpoint.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a <strong>hands-on creative and strategic role</strong> with real influence over brand direction. You'll translate brand strategy into compelling visual systems, campaigns, and narratives that shape company perception and drive business goals — with strong potential for leadership growth as the team scales.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>This position is fully remote with flexibility to travel globally as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.</em></p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop and continuously evolve the company's visual identity across brand, marketing, product, communications, and content channels.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Translate brand strategy into visuals, campaigns, narratives, and customer experiences that resonate deeply.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create high-quality visual assets including launch materials, presentations, campaign creative, social content, web pages, and brand collateral.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build design concepts that make complex technology feel clear, accessible, and culturally relevant.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Shape visual storytelling for key company moments and establish scalable design principles that ensure consistent branding.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to align design execution with broader business goals.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bring strong taste and strategic judgment to influence how the company is perceived in market.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">8+ years of design experience specializing in brand identity, visual systems, campaigns, and creative direction.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated ability to translate brand strategy into visual systems, campaign narratives, and end-to-end customer experiences.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency creating polished, production-ready assets across launch materials, presentations, social, web, and brand content.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience developing and evolving visual identity systems across multiple channels simultaneously.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to establish design principles and visual storytelling frameworks that scale across an organization.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working alongside Marketing, Product, Brand, and executive Leadership.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deep understanding of how brand strategy shapes market perception and product experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Portfolio demonstrating the combination of strategic thinking <em>and</em> hands-on design execution.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven comfort thriving in fast-paced startup environments with high design standards.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prior experience with luxury, DTC (direct-to-consumer), wellness, or technology brands.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience making complex or emerging technology feel approachable and culturally resonant through design.</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation & Benefits</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Salary:</strong> $150,000 – $170,000 USD annually</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Fully remote role with global travel flexibility</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">High-impact, high-visibility position at an early-stage company with significant growth potential</p></li></ul><h3>Location</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This role is <strong>fully remote</strong>.
