Unlike traditional interconnects, our solution reduces power consumption signiﬁcantly while preserving high bandwidth and ultra-low latency — unlocking unprecedented efficiency for AI training and inference at scale.<div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div>Kandou’s architecture is not just an incremental improvement — it’s a foundational shift in how AI hardware is built for the future.<div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div>Job Title: Quality Systems ManagerLocation: Preferably UK (Cambridge or Reading) - Other location in Europe possibleResponsibility and Authority<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Design, deliver and manage our quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, (2015 and then transition to 2026), and company requirements.</li><li>Responsible for quality document administration and control, including Kandou’s Document (DMS) and Issues Management Systems (IMS).</li><li>Responsible for internal audit of the QMS, support supplier/customer audits and manage the relevant corrective actions/preventative actions (CAPA).</li><li>Champion customer/legislative driven quality, environmental and ethical initiatives e.g. Responsible Business Alliance, Cyber Security, Green House Gas emissions, etc.</li><li>Own & present quality metrics, and improvement plans, to management team.</li><li>Owner of all internal Quality processes e.g. change management, 5S audits, organisational risk management, etc.</li><li>Own and communicate Kandou’s quality message to suppliers, employees, and customers.</li><li>Work with commercial, engineering, and operational functions to prioritise and agree on a roadmap of activities for internal and external expectations regarding quality goals.</li><li>Define and specify the implementation of quality standards, methods, metrics, and procedures for continuous improvement assuring product quality and business performance, including relevant KPI’s.</li><li>Candidate must demonstrate leadership, communication and influencing skills and is able to communicate with ease with customers, senior management and internal stakeholders.</li></ul>Required Experience<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>5+ years’ experience of working with, and implementing, Quality Management Systems within the semiconductor and/or technology industries.</li><li>Track record of defining quality processes & procedures.</li><li>Administration of document and issue management systems.</li><li>Practical experience of data collection, pareto & data analysis / trending.</li><li>Practical experience of continuous improvement and structured problem solving.</li><li>Experience of ISO9001 implementation, maintenance and certification. Equivalent knowledge of IATF16949 and/or ISO14001 is desirable.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of quality improvement tools.</li><li>Experience in effective collaboration with design, development and manufacturing organizations, particularly as relates to design and product realisation processes.</li></ul>Required Skills<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Excellent verbal / written communication, interpersonal and functional team building skills.</li><li>Working understanding of statistical decision-making methods including process .capability analysis/MSA and DoE.
