In order to handle the strong growth of our customer base and their demands, we are continuously expanding our Engine domain and heavily invest in the performance and scalability of our engine.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Role:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-weight: 400;&quot;&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;For the Core squad of our Process Query Engine team, we are looking for a Software Engineer with solid experience in system programming and the skills to build a highly parallelized and distributed database with modern C++ and Java. As part of a talented engineering team, you’ll develop and implement new concepts and algorithms for our Process Query Engine, take ownership of our solutions to increase reliability and performance, and drive initiatives to shape future innovations.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The work you’ll do:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Develop new concepts and algorithms for data management and query execution&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Challenge and benchmark our solutions using performance engineering principles&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Shape and contribute to our development and maintenance processes&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders and customers&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Take responsibility for the performance, scalability, and reliability of our solutions&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Support in problem-solving and optimization&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Mentor project teams and more junior engineers&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lead projects and define technical roadmaps&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Take full responsibility from end-to-end - from problem to solution&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The qualifications you&#39;ll need:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;University degree in Computer Science or comparable education&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience in system programming with modern C++.
