You don't need a clinical background, we're looking for someone who can inspire and develop teams, spot opportunities, make sound commercial decisions and create an environment where both people and the business can thrive.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><br>Lead Two Practices and a Great Team</h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br>You'll provide leadership across more than 40 colleagues, spanning veterinary, nursing, client care, reception and administration teams.</p> <p><br>Your role will be about bringing people together, creating a positive and high-performing culture and ensuring everyone has the support, direction and opportunities they need to do their best work.</p> <p><br>You'll work closely with the Clinical Directors, combining your business and operational expertise with their clinical leadership to deliver an excellent experience for clients, patients and colleagues.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><br>Shape the Future</h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br>With a competitive local market, you'll have plenty of scope to make a real commercial impact.</p> <p><br>You'll identify opportunities to grow the practices, strengthen client relationships and improve retention, while ensuring we continue to deliver an outstanding service. You'll take ownership of the P&amp;L, annual business planning and budgets, using insight and data to drive sustainable performance.</p> <p><br>You'll also play a key role in shaping the longer-term strategy for both practices, turning ideas into action and helping Market Vets continue to build on its success.</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>* Lead the operational, commercial and financial performance of both practices, working in partnership with the Clinical Directors to achieve business and clinical objectives</div> <div>* Take ownership of P&amp;L performance, annual business planning and budget management</div> <div>* Identify commercial opportunities and drive sustainable business growth within a competitive local market</div> <div>* Build, engage and develop a high-performing team of more than 40 colleagues across clinical and non-clinical functions</div> <div>* Lead resource planning, performance management, coaching and colleague development</div> <div>* Support excellent client engagement, retention and overall client experience</div> <div>* Ensure high standards of clinical governance, regulatory compliance and patient care in partnership with clinical leadership</div> <div>* Drive continuous improvement and support the implementation of wider business initiatives and best practice</div> <div>* Champion a safe, compliant and collaborative working environment across both practices</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <h2>Working Pattern</h2> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around working hours between 8:30am and 6:00pm.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>You’ll spend time across both practices, which are conveniently located close to one another.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <h2>You Might Be a Great Fit If...</h2> <div>&nbsp;</div> <p>You are an experienced operational leader with strong commercial acumen and a people-centred approach to leadership.
