Your story matters – keep writing it as part of our team.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Are you ready to join us?</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will join <strong>Data Collection</strong>, the newest production line within Statista’s Data Production division, and work closely with the <strong>Source Identification &amp; Unlocking</strong> team. Our team secures the sources that power the collection line by unlocking access through partnerships and contractual agreements. We also run a structured discovery process to identify and qualify the most suitable sources for specific data needs.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As a working student, you’ll support the team in researching potential partners, preparing outreach, and helping manage ongoing collaborations. This role offers a hands-on introduction to strategic data partnerships, giving you insight into how global data flows are negotiated, structured, and brought to life on one of the world’s leading data platforms.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Tasks:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support the Partner Data Managers in daily tasks</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support business development through market, partner, and lead research</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Generate leads and maintain the partnership pipeline</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Assist in projects and take ownership of smaller tasks independently</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in internal data strategy and team meetings</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation to support partnerships</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support in the analysis and optimization of existing processes</p></li></ul><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Currently enrolled at a university in a relevant field of study, with an interest in business and marketing topics</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Organized and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong skills in German or an additional language are a plus</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we offer</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">In addition to our great team, culture, and our shared goal of empowering people with data, there are many other things that make Statista a great place to work!
