<h2>🎯 The role</h2>We're French, post-Series B scale-up, and now building the UK from the ground up — first councils signed, first go-lives delivered. We are already working with +200 local authorities in France, Belgium & Switzerland and are now expanding in the UK.As Project Engineer, you'll take the lead in delivering, supporting and supervising client projects, and reporting to Manuella (Head of Operations).This is a great fit if you enjoy working hands-on with hardware in the field, coordinating partners to get things installed right, and want to be part of a team that values ownership, collaboration and getting things done.<h2>🚀 What you'll do</h2>PMO delivery<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Lead the end-to-end rollout of our installations across council sites, ensuring smooth delivery from kick-off to handover.</li><li>Oversee the configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet each council's requirements.</li></ul>Partner management<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Train and certify partners on the installation and maintenance of our solutions, ensuring compliance with our quality and uptime standards.</li><li>Act as the interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules, priorities and escalations.</li></ul>Client technical support<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Serve as the named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within defined SLAs.</li><li>Challenge orientation choice and ensure that the partner meets Vizzia’s standards regarding execution and delivery-time.</li><li>Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations, and produce execution packs for installers (HQ and local partners).</li><li>Coordinate spares and replacements with HQ to minimise downtime.</li></ul>With HQ<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Produce regular reports and progress updates for management.</li><li>Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records to keep projects on track.</li><li>Build strong working relationships with HQ, external partners and council clients.</li></ul>In the field<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Mobility: This role covers deployments across the UK, regular regional travel is an integral part of the job.</li></ul><h2>✅ Who you are</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>At least 5 years experience working with technical delivery or field operations, ideally in council, public-sector, or similarly complex environments.</li><li>Electricity — understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings would be a bonus.</li><li>Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.</li><li>Confident managing multiple projects at once and keeping everyone informed.</li><li>Great communication skills — comfortable breaking down and explaining technical issues.</li><li>Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.</li><li>Full working proficiency English skills</li><li>UK driving licence is required to get between sites.</li></ul><h2>⭐ Bonus points</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Familiarity with CCTV or EV charging infrastructure.</li><li>Experience with UK local authorities / the public sector / B2G.</li></ul><h2>🚀 Growth perspectives</h2>This is a builder role!
