Whether you’re seeking entry-level employment or a new opportunity to expand your profession, we offer training to develop the technical and managerial skills necessary to enhance your career <hr> Key duties… <ul> <li>Wash, rinse, and sanitise all kitchen items including pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and glassware in line with daily operational needs&nbsp;</li> <li>Operate commercial dishwashing and cleaning equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workspaces and storage areas&nbsp;</li> <li>Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately, ensuring bins are emptied and areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the shift&nbsp;</li> <li>Adhere to all Food Safety and Health &amp; Safety policies and practices in line with UK regulations (including HACCP)&nbsp;</li> <li>Follow detailed cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)&nbsp;</li> <li>Support the kitchen team by replenishing stock, reporting low supplies, and assisting where required during peak service times&nbsp;</li> <li>Handle kitchen equipment and items carefully to minimise breakages and maintain inventory integrity&nbsp;</li> <li>Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials where required.</li> <li>Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.</li> </ul> <hr> What we are looking for... A successful Kitchen Porter for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
