As our new Senior Developer (m/f/d) for our Build & Test Platform, your mission will be to design and build the Bazel-based build and test architecture that carries Checkmk's growth. Your job is to stay ahead of that curve, so that feedback stays fast, results stay trustworthy, and quality is caught before it reaches a customer. Here's what your journey with us will look like: <ul><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">Build architecture: Own and evolve our Bazel setup across several concurrently maintained product versions. Drive hermeticity, sane dependency boundaries, and toolchain management, and plan migrations that improve the architecture without blocking the developers who depend on it every day. </li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">Make it fast: Turn build and test times into something you measure and then attack. Remote caching and execution, cache hit rates and a good Pipeline architecture. </li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">Automation and developer experience: From build and release tooling to the diagnostics that let a developer understand a failure on their own. </li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">Collaboration: Work closely with the product teams who use the platform, with QA, and with the rest of CI.
