We are backed by exceptional investors, having recently closed a Series A round.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We believe in the value of in-person collaboration and work in a hybrid setup, with the team coming together in our office in the heart of <strong>Berlin-Mitte</strong> typically <strong>four days per week</strong>.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>As a Manual QA Engineer at REMATIQ, you will own product quality across the edge cases automated tests don’t catch and the bugs that need to be driven through to resolution.</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You’ll work closely with Engineering to explore unusual documents, broken inputs, interrupted workflows, non-deterministic AI outputs, permission edge cases, and other failure modes that are difficult to anticipate upfront.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a hands-on quality ownership role. You’ll combine exploratory testing with disciplined bug triage, making sure issues are reproducible, prioritised appropriately, fixed, verified, and genuinely closed.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>You’ll own two things:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Explore edge cases beyond automated testing.</strong> Automated tests check what someone thought to check. You’ll explore unusual documents, broken inputs, half-finished workflows, non-deterministic AI outputs, permission corner cases, and other scenarios that may otherwise be missed.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Own the bug backlog from report to resolution.</strong> Reproduce and document incoming issues, assess severity, prioritise with the Engineering Lead, track fixes, verify them, and keep the backlog accurate and actionable.</p></li></ul><h2>What you’ll bring</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong manual QA experience on web products, including exploratory testing, test design, and regression planning</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience owning bug triage and backlog quality, not just reporting issues and moving on</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exceptionally clear bug reports with reproducible steps, environment details, and expected vs. actual behaviour</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Enough technical fluency to investigate before escalating: browser dev tools, logs, network requests, APIs, and basic system behaviour</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good judgement about risk and the confidence to say <strong>“this isn’t ready”</strong> when it matters</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Fluent English, our working language</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to have:</strong> experience in regulated domains such as medical devices, pharma, or finance; ISTQB certification; German.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Why this role is interesting</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Quality is central to the product.</strong> Thoroughness is part of the work, not an afterthought.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>You’ll work with AI-enabled software.</strong> That includes testing non-deterministic AI outputs alongside more traditional product behaviour.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>You’ll work closely with an AI-first engineering team and MedTech domain experts.</strong></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com">Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
