We're growing the Revenue Data team with Engineering and Accounting Data openings to drive our automation and systems infrastructure and while keeping pace within one of the fastest growing marketplace companies.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><h1><strong>About the Role</strong></h1><p style="min-height:1.5em">The Manager of Engineering for Accounting Infrastructure and Systems leads a team responsible for building and maintaining the scalable backend systems, data pipelines, and integrations that power DoorDash's accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into reliable, automated platforms that ensure accuracy, auditability, and compliance at scale. The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership and distributed-systems expertise with a deep understanding of financial processes, while mentoring engineers and driving the strategic roadmap for the company's accounting technology stack. You will report into the Senior Manager, M&amp;A Accounting (Data) on our Accounting Revenue Data team in our Finance organization.</p><h1></h1><h1><strong>You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the strategic roadmap and execution for DoorDash's accounting infrastructure, including the data pipelines, system integrations, and automation platforms that power financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance at scale.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into reliable, auditable backend systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a high-performance culture within a fast-moving, high-stakes financial environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive measurable improvements in data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system scalability — directly enabling faster close cycles and audit readiness across the organization.</p></li></ul><h1></h1><h1><strong>We’re excited about you because…</strong></h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have 7+ years of experience in data or software engineering, including 2+ years leading engineering teams, ideally within fintech, marketplace, or high-growth tech environments.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You bring hands-on expertise with modern data infrastructure tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt Cloud, Snowflake, Workato) and can credibly guide technical decisions across the stack.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You have a strong working knowledge of financial processes — including revenue recognition, reconciliation, and close workflows — and can bridge the gap between engineering and accounting stakeholders.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You're a clear communicator who can align diverse partners (Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Engineering) around complex technical tradeoffs and delivery timelines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with distributed systems, data quality frameworks, and SOX-relevant controls is a strong plus.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h1><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h1><p style="min-height:1.5em">At DoorDash, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a massive marketplace that’s constantly evolving.
