You will own core planning and forecasting processes while developing deep expertise in GTM finance - working with complex driver-based models, commercial KPIs, and cross-functional business cases. Your work will inform how Elliptic allocates resources, evaluates opportunities, and tracks performance across the business.What you will do:Day-to-day responsibilities:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Build and maintain, driver-based financial models covering revenue, GTM performance, and scenario analysis</li><li>Partner with the the Commercial Org. and Insights team to track KPIs, surface insights, and support decision-making</li><li>Own ARR, bookings and churn reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems</li><li>Develop and present business cases to support investment decisions, headcount requests, and new market opportunities</li><li>Support business reviews with structured data-driven commentary and variance analysis</li><li>Assist in the annual planning and reforecast cycles</li></ul>Longer-term projects:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Lead the design of scalable forecasting frameworks as Elliptic grows into new markets and segments</li><li>Drive GTM efficiency modelling to assess ROI across channels, geographies and customer segments</li><li>Partner with Data and Rev Ops to improve financial data infrastructure and reporting quality</li></ul>What You Will Achieve in Your First 6 Months:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Enhance and own the driver-based forecast model, running an 18-month forecast with the GTM organisation</li><li>Build exec-level reporting to provide transparency on ARR performance and its key drivers</li><li>Drive meaningful resource allocation decisions through financial and operational analysis</li><li>Deliver automation and efficiency improvements to the planning and reporting cycle</li></ul>You will be a great fit here if you:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Have strong FP&A foundations and genuine interest in applying them in a fast-paced, commercial environment</li><li>Enjoy working with complex data and are energised by structuring ambiguous problems into clear analytical frameworks</li><li>Are a self-starter who proactively identifies gaps and brings well-reasoned solutions</li><li>Build credibility quickly with non-finance stakeholders and enjoy being a genuine thought partner</li><li>Have intellectual curiosity about crypto, digital assets or financial crime compliance</li></ul>Our ideal candidate has:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Solid FP&A experience, ideally in a fast-growth technology business, with exposure to both corporate planning and commercial finance</li><li>Experience building and maintaining complex, driver-based financial models in Google Sheets or Excel - you understand how to structure a model, not just populate one</li><li>The ability to work with GTM KPIs and translate them into financial insight</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: able to segment a complex problem logically, and work through it efficiently</li><li>Confidence working with large and complex datasets</li><li>Proven ability to improve and scale FP&A processes, tooling and reporting infrastructure</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication: able to present clearly to senior stakeholders and simplify complexity without losing substance</li><li>AI fluency is essential - candidates must demonstrate effective use of AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and generate insight</li></ul>Bonus Points for:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Exposure to crypto, fintech or regtech industries</li><li>Experience in B2B SaaS and / or a background in consulting</li><li>Experience with FP&A planning tools</li><li>Familiarity with RevOps workflows and CRM data structures (e.g. HubSpot)</li><li>Experience contributing to or owning a go-to-market planning process</li></ul><h2>Job Benefits</h2>> How we work:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Hybrid working and the option to work from almost anywhere for up to 90 days per year</li><li>£500 Remote working budget to set up your home office space</li></ul>> Learning & Development:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>$1,000 Learning & Development budget to use on anything (agreed with your manager) that contributes to your growth and development</li></ul>> Vacation/ Leave:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Holidays: 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays</li><li>An extra day for your birthday</li><li>Enhanced parental leave: we provide eligible employees, regardless of gender or whether they become a parent by birth or adoption, 16 weeks fully-paid leave and leave.</li></ul>> Benefits:<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Private Health Insurance - we use Vitality!</li><li>Full access to Spill Mental Health Support</li><li>Life Assurance: we hope you will never need this - but our cover is for 4 times your salary to your beneficiaries</li><li>Cycle to Work Scheme</li></ul>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.co.uk">Jobs in United Kingdom</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
