You will lead a specialist QA team, act as Hasbro's technical voice in the industry bodies that shape toy regulation, and partner with global stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest safety standards in every market they reach.&nbsp; You will join a global QA team that is every bit as passionate about safety as we are about having fun. If you want to make a measurable impact on an iconic brand portfolio, we would like to hear from you.&nbsp; <h2>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</h2> <ul> <li>Represent Hasbro in industry and standardization bodies including TIE, TA, ATPA, BTHA, FJP, AFNOR, CEN and ISO, shaping proportionate regulation and standards for the company and the wider toy industry.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead and develop the EMEA QA team, setting technical direction and providing authoritative interpretation of regulatory and licensing requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor regulatory change across EMEA, assess business exposure, and lead engagement with industry associations to mitigate impact.&nbsp;</li> <li>Own the Regulatory Change Management Process for the region, ensuring new requirements are implemented on time and verified.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop compliance strategies for complex markets, notably distributor territories and the GCC region including Saudi Arabia, and equip local teams to meet their national requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with global QA licensing and EMEA licensing leadership to define, communicate and operate licensing compliance processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support global development teams on new product lines: research applicable requirements and translate them into product specifications and certification programs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Act as escalation point for market surveillance authorities and consumer safety complaints, applying balanced, ethical judgment where compliance and commercial pressures meet.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h2>What will you bring&nbsp;</h2> <ul> <li>8+ years in product regulatory or compliance, including experience leading or mentoring across multiple markets.&nbsp;</li> <li>Deep working knowledge of toy safety standards and legislation worldwide.&nbsp;</li> <li>Command of EMEA and global regulation affecting Hasbro and licensed product, including REACH, the General Product Safety Regulation and the wider framework.&nbsp;</li> <li>Working knowledge of requirements beyond the toy scope, covering 14+ product, adult collectibles and games, where the General Product Safety Regulation and related standards apply rather than toy safety legislation.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven experience leading a Regulatory Change Management process end to end.&nbsp;</li> <li>Practical grounding in consumer product safety testing requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Understanding of children's play patterns and how they interact with toys and games.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience representing a business with trade associations, regulators and market surveillance authorities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to build trusted relationships and influence across a global, multicultural team.&nbsp;</li> <li>Fluent English; additional European languages an advantage.&nbsp;</li> <li>Navigate tight deadlines, shifting regulation and ambiguity with a positive mindset, a focus on solutions and a sense of humor.&nbsp;</li> <li>Thrive in an environment of continuous improvement and learning.&nbsp;</li> </ul> &nbsp; <h3>We are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer&nbsp;</h3> Hasbro is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
