And we'll need help doing it.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Legal tech is on the rise, with Goldman Sachs estimating that <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="postings-link" href="https://www.law.com/legaltechnews/2023/03/30/legal-industry-reacts-to-goldman-sachs-generative-ai-report-keep-calm-and-panic/?slreturn=20231019075707">44% of legal tasks can be automated</a> with generative AI. With the brand we have built and the agility of early stage we are well placed to capture this opportunity.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Eimear (our Director of Finance) is heading off on maternity leave, and we're looking for an interim Finance Director to hold the seat for ~8 months (October to May).</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This isn't a caretaker role, and it isn't a pure people-leadership role either. You're a player-coach in FP&A, meaning you’ll:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">personally run the FY27 FP&A cycle end-to-end,</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">partner with other execs as a peer to shape strategy, and</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">coach a Financial Controller and an Analyst on everything else.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><code>Success means:</code></p><ol style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own and run the FY27 FP&A cycle end-to-end: budget, monthly reforecast, board packs, monthly exec business reviews.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with the CEO and exec team as a peer, shaping board and investor reporting and influencing strategic finance decisions as they arise.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead the finance team, with an active coaching load on month-end.</p></li></ol><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>We care about building a diverse team where everyone feels they belong.
