In this role, you'll prepare clear risk reports for senior leadership, maintain our risk register, and contribute to the ongoing development of our risk and governance frameworks, ensuring we stay aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.</span></p> </div><br><strong>Responsabilities</strong><br><div> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Provide guidance, support, review and constructive challenge as required for the process of identification, assessment, and documentation of operational risks across key business areas</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Analyse internal processes to detect potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities and drive improvements of areas identified</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Prepare and deliver where required detailed risk reports on a regular and ad hoc basis for senior leadership, risk committees, and regulatory bodies, highlighting risk trends, control effectiveness, and areas requiring attention.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Maintain the risk register (including event logging and investigation, categorisation, and root-cause analysis, mitigation), ensuring it is comprehensive, up-to-date, and aligned with the organisation's risk framework.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Support regular reviews of the operational risk management framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.</span></li> </div><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br><p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"> </p> <div style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <ul style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding-inline-start: 48px;"> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Understanding of Risk Management assessment methodologies and frameworks.</span></p> </li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Ideally 5+ years' experience in a 1st/2nd line role in financial services with a focus on Operational Risk.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Experience with operational risk event management, including incident identification, registration, management, escalation, and remediation/action tracking.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Familiarity with the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.</span></p> </li> <li><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Familiarity with AI tools and their practical application to automate manual steps within Operational Risk processes, with a continuous improvement mindset.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Strong written and verbal skills & confidence and experience of Microsoft Office tools.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to liaise across risk, compliance, and IT teams.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Experience in a professional services (consulting, financial services etc) is a plus</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <p style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Professional qualification (IRM/FRM) is a plus</span></p> </li> </ul></div><div><b style="font-size: 18px">What you will get in return:</b></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 16px">• </span><b style="font-size: 16px">Competitive Salary:</b><span style="font-size: 16px"> We believe great work deserves great pay!
