<br><strong>Join the ride!</strong><p>As a QA Engineering Intern you learn how we keep our products reliable, from the first<br>test idea to a release in the app stores. You test our consumer mobile app and our<br>business web platform alongside experienced engineers.<br>We build with a lot of AI, and a machine-written test can pass without proving anything.<br>Careful human checks on real devices make the difference, and that is where you help.<br><br>Note: This role is a Berlin based full time internship limited to 6 months.</p><br><strong>Your Responsibility</strong><p><ul><li>Test on real iOS and Android devices, by script and by exploration</li><li>Run release checklists before each app release</li><li>Check the web platform against written acceptance criteria and record results with evidence</li><li>Send API requests with Postman and check the responses</li><li>Write and run your first automated tests with Appium or Playwright, with code review</li><li>Write clear, reproducible bug reports and follow them through to a fix</li><li>Maintain test data and test accounts, never using real customer data</li><li>Effectively deploy and use AI agents</li></ul></p><br><strong>Your Experience</strong><p><ul><li>A recent degree or bootcamp in computer science or a related field, or a career change into tech</li><li>At least one of Java, JavaScript or TypeScript</li><li>The basics of HTTP and APIs: requests, responses, status codes and JSON</li><li>Curiosity about how mobile and web apps work and how they break</li><li>Attention to detail and patience with repetitive checks</li><li>Clear writing in English</li><li>Comfortable using both iOS and Android, and open to learning SQL</li></ul>Highly desired<br><ul><li>First experience with Postman or a similar API client</li><li>First experience with Appium, Playwright or another test automation tool</li><li>Basic Git skills and a project we can look at</li><li>First experience with AI coding tools, and healthy scepticism of their output</li><li>Basic scripting and SQL</li><li>Interest in security testing</li><li>A valid driving licence (EU category B or equivalent)</li></ul>Don't tick every box?
