AI Education Expert (m/f/d) for the European AI Factory HammerHAI Your Role and Responsibilities:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Developing and planning the AI Factory’s (AIF) portfolio of education & training offers within a friendly and open work environment in a highly motivated, international team</li><li>Designing and organizing educational events, trainings and training series, collaborating with other trainers</li><li>Ability and willingness to contribute with your knowledge to educational (and consultancy) offers for, primarily, manufacturing and engineering SMEs and start-ups</li><li>Analysing the requirements and needs of targeted user groups with respect to training (and consulting)</li><li>Collaborating within the corresponding work package of the AIF</li><li>Fostering contact with collaboration partners as well as stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem, relying on your friendly personality and communication skills</li><li>Supporting AI talent development in Europe and Germany by means of training and consulting within the AIF’s ecosystem</li><li>Opportunities to work with national and European partners on novel AI projects from private and academic sectors</li><li>Maintaining relationships with technology providers and system developers (hardware/software), as well as educational partners and providers when brokering training events</li></ul> Your Qualifications:Required/Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>PhD or Master’s degree in computer or data science, or other areas of scientific computing with at least 2 years of applied data analytics and machine learning/AI experience as senior engineer/data analyst in research or enterprise environments</li></ul> Other Requirements <ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Knowledge and experience designing and organising training events and series as well as conducting your own training events</li><li>Extensive knowledge about and practical skills applying Machine Learning/AI applications, frameworks, methods and models (e.g. Python, PyTorch, JAX, etc.)</li><li>Willingness to keep up with current developments and to learn new technologies</li><li>Proficiency working in Linux-based environments</li><li>Excellent English and preferably German presentation and writing skills</li></ul> Additional or Preferred Qualifications <ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Familiarity with Git-based version control systems like GitLab or GitHub</li><li>Customer relationship management know-how</li><li>Experience working at or with start-ups/small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)</li></ul> Conditions:Working timefull time (40 hrs) / part-time possibleflexible working model with electronic time recordingContract durationEnd of Q1/2028, further employment is intendedRemunerationup to E 13, see <a target="_blank" href="https://lff.bayern.de/themen-lebenslagen/bezuege-leistungen/arbeitnehmerinnen-arbeitnehmer-entgelte/entgelttabellen/" rel="noreferrer noopener">Entgelttabelle TV-L</a>Annual leave / compensatory time off30 days (24.12. + 31.12. additionally day off)Overtime is compensated by additional time offBenefitsUp to 60% mobile work for suitable tasks, mostly two-person offices, bus and subway (U6) on the doorstep, free parking, pension plan of the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL), state-of-the-art work equipment, Cooperation Agreement with Sports Facility Providers for Discounted Membership What you can expect at LRZ:Are you looking for a multifaceted and intellectually stimulating position in a dynamic, cooperative and innovative work environment?
