Full-Stack Engineer — AI Authoring Platform

<h3>About Tracium</h3><p>Tracium builds AI-assisted technical documentation software for teams working with complex manuals and engineering information. Our platform combines document intelligence with S1000D authoring, initially serving maritime use cases.</p><p>We want technical authors to spend less time managing document complexity and more time producing accurate, useful information.</p><h3>Your role</h3><p>You will turn our AI and document processing capabilities into a product that technical authors and engineers can use confidently. You will work across the authoring interface, backend services, and integrations.</p><h3>What you’ll do</h3><ul><li><p>Build an intuitive editor that lets users create structured technical documentation without working directly with XML tags.</p></li><li><p>Develop interfaces for reviewing extracted information and AI suggestions alongside their sources.</p></li><li><p>Create workflows for editing, validation, version comparison, and document export.</p></li><li><p>Build backend APIs and integrate document processing and AI services.</p></li><li><p>Implement access controls, audit history, and reliable handling of long-running tasks.</p></li><li><p>Improve responsiveness and performance when working with large documents.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with the founders and domain experts to translate feedback into product improvements.</p></li></ul><h3>What you bring</h3><ul><li><p>Experience shipping and maintaining production web applications.</p></li><li><p>Strong TypeScript and React skills, or experience with a comparable modern frontend framework.</p></li><li><p>Backend development experience with Python or Node.js.</p></li><li><p>Experience designing APIs and working with relational databases.</p></li><li><p>A practical approach to testing, security, accessibility, and maintainable code.</p></li><li><p>An interest in making complex workflows straightforward for users.</p></li><li><p>Clear communication in English.</p></li></ul><h3>Useful additional experience</h3><ul><li><p>Rich-text editors, structured content, or collaborative editing.</p></li><li><p>XML, document standards.</p></li><li><p>AI interfaces, document viewers, or enterprise software.</p></li></ul><h3>Why join Tracium?</h3><p>Take ownership of meaningful product features, work directly with the founders, and shape how people interact with AI-assisted technical documentation.</p><h3>Apply</h3><p>Send your CV or professional profile and examples of applications you have built.
