Senior Software Engineer (C# .NET) | London

If you’re ready to join a growing company and make an immediate impact, we want to hear from you!</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong>You will be joining at TransPerfect – TechOps:</strong></p><p>The TransPerfect TechOps team has been a vital part of the company’s success since its formation over 10 years ago – delivering technology and services that have drastically simplified the lives of our clients and colleagues – from workflow improvements for colleagues to core services that form the basis of the company’s <a rel="noopener" target="_blank" href="https://globallink.transperfect.com/">GlobalLink</a> platform, to creating scalable client interfaces that allow novice users to navigate complex ecosystems.</p> <br> <p><strong>Your responsibilities and tasks will include:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Engage in all phases of application development, with a focus on coding and debugging in alignment with security standards throughout the entire lifecycle</p></li><li><p>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code/APIs to support applications both for web and mobile</p></li><li><p>Collaborate regularly in a cross-functional team made up of product managers, quality assurance teams, designers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic</p></li><li><p>Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address issues</p></li><li><p>Optimize web applications for performance, scalability and security</p></li><li><p>Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and protect against potential threats</p></li><li><p>Develop automation tests/ collaborate with automation engineers to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing</p></li><li><p>Work closely with users to provide personalized software support as needed</p></li><li><p>Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend infrastructure</p></li><li><p>Document application support and operational procedures</p></li><li><p>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster their growth and development</p></li></ul><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong>The minimum we’re looking for (show us what you got if you aren’t a perfect fit):</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field</p></li><li><p>8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems</p></li><li><p>Extensive knowledge of DotNet C#, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework and related technologies</p></li><li><p>Capable to use version control software such as GIT</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of SOLID principles</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of clean code practices</p></li><li><p>Experience using web service protocols such as Rest, API design for extensibility and integration</p></li><li><p>Experience debugging complex applications</p></li><li><p>Experience with Agile development project management methodologies</p></li><li><p>Database Development in SQL Server or NoSQL Databases</p></li><li><p>Some familiarity of Docker</p></li><li><p>Experience debugging complex applications</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment</p></li><li><p>Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ and Quartz experience is a plus</p></li></ul><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><em>By applying, I confirm I have read and accepted TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting</em></p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.co.uk/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
