<p><strong>The Company</strong></p> <p>At Mycolever, we are building the powerhouse for sustainable fungal biocompounds, unlocking the biodiversity of fungi to supercharge the industrial bioeconomy. Our journey begins with our biosurfactant platform, where we develop sustainable alternatives to petrochemical-based surfactants.</p> <p>Ingredient by ingredient, our compound discovery platform unlocks the Fungal Kingdom and delivers highly functional biocompounds. Formulation by formulation, we help our customers minimize their environmental footprint and shape a greener future together.</p> <p><strong>Who You'll Work With</strong></p> <p>You will work directly with our founders. Britta Winterberg (CEO/CTO) drives our technological vision, with deep expertise in fungal biotechnology and fermentation. Niels Dietzsch (CCO/COO/CFO) leads company building and operational execution across sales, operations, and finance. Both have more than 15 years of experience in their fields. We are also supported by a strong board of advisors, including Dr. Andreas Gocke (former Partner at Boston Consulting Group) and Dr. Andreas Heyl (CTO at Formo Bio and SPRIND, former CTO at Insempra), and backed by leading venture investors FoodLabs, Ananda Impact Ventures, and UnternehmerTUM.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence Intern to join our team and help us take Mycolever through its Seed round. You will get a real view into how a venture actually gets built and financed. We hold this role to the same bar as a full-time hire.</p> <p><strong>What the job involves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be a true entrepreneur: help us build the business side of Mycolever from the ground up, supporting the founders in daily operational tasks as well as strategic projects</li> <li>Assist the founders in navigating our fundraising process: investor research and targeting, pitch materials, data room structure, and meeting prep</li> <li>Engage in market and competitive analyses that feed into our investor narrative and strategic positioning</li> <li>Support the validation of new business cases through expert interviews</li> <li>Contribute to marketing content and early B2B outreach that connects to our go-to-market story and investor narrative</li> <li>Help position Mycolever as a category leader in investor rooms, in the industry, and at trade fairs</li> <li>Work in short, structured sprints with clear deliverables, guided by direct feedback from the founders</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are studying for a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, or a related field, from your 6th semester onward, or you are a Master's student in the same field</li> <li>You are business fluent in English and German</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Sets You Apart</strong></p> <ul> <li>You already have internship experience in consulting, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking</li> <li>You know your way around PowerPoint and Excel and can turn a messy dataset or a rough argument into a clean, convincing slide</li> <li>You are comfortable working with AI tools such as Claude Code or ChatGPT as part of how you work day to day.</li> <li>You have a get-things-done attitude: you take initiative, drive results, and don't need hand-holding to figure out what happens next</li> <li>You bring strong problem-solving skills and the ambition to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>You are naturally curious and ask the follow-up question others don't</li> <li>You bring authenticity to your work, whether you're introverted, extroverted, a doer, or an analytical thinker</li> <li>You have an interest in cosmetics or personal care, since it's our platform's first market, but genuine curiosity about the Fungal Kingdom counts too</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Mentorship and Networking: get mentorship from our experienced team and access to exclusive events</li> <li>Growth Opportunities: be part of a fast-growing company where your work makes a real difference, whether you are aiming for a management track or deep expertise</li> </ul> <p><strong>Hiring Process</strong></p> <p>We believe in transparency and efficiency.
