Parametric Insurance Advisor

<p>Authority is developing insurance-focused products, intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses. We are looking for a professional who is currently active in the United Kingdom and has direct parametric insurance experience to advise us as we develop and evaluate these offerings.</p> <p>You will provide practical guidance on suitable risks, trigger design, data sources, pricing, basis risk, capacity, distribution and customer adoption.</p> <h2>What you will advise us on</h2> <ul> <li>Commercial use cases for parametric insurance</li> <li>Trigger and payout structure design</li> <li>Data quality, independence and verification</li> <li>Basis risk and customer suitability</li> <li>Underwriting and pricing considerations</li> <li>Capacity, reinsurance and risk transfer</li> <li>Policy wording, regulation and customer communication</li> <li>Distribution through brokers, MGAs, carriers and technology platforms</li> <li>Parametric products covering operational, supply-chain, cyber, energy or other measurable commercial risks</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience</li> <li>Currently operating in or closely involved with the the United Kingdom insurance market</li> <li>Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions</li> <li>Firsthand experience with insurance product, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution decisions</li> <li>A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience</li> </ul> <h2>Engagement details</h2> <ul> <li>Independent consulting contract</li> <li>Remote within the United Kingdom</li> <li>Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month</li> <li>Flexible scheduling</li> </ul> <p>This is not a full-time position or a sales role.
