<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're a fast-growing, Munich-based AI-powered B2B SaaS startup building a privacy-first digital assistant for sales teams. Our platform automates the administrative burden of the sales cycle — from real-time meeting notes and CRM updates to voice-guided follow-ups and coaching — helping sales professionals focus on selling rather than admin work. Founded in 2022 and now ~25 people strong, we work with enterprise clients and integrate with leading CRMs including Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and HubSpot.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're looking for a <strong>Senior Full-Stack Engineer</strong> to take meaningful technical ownership across our product surfaces: web app, desktop client, iOS app, and backend services. You'll work closely with the CTO and founding engineers to shape architecture and technical strategy, while also mentoring teammates and raising the engineering bar across the team. This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Germany. <strong>Visa sponsorship is not available.</strong></p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Take end-to-end technical ownership of a core platform (web, desktop, iOS, or backend) and ship real-time, low-latency features.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Architect scalable services and define cross-stack best practices, balancing performance, reliability, and product velocity.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate directly with the CTO and founding engineers to shape product and infrastructure strategy.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and foster a high-performing, learning-oriented engineering culture.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and maintain a robust delivery pipeline — CI/CD, test automation, and deployment strategies.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Document architectural decisions and communicate effectively across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Expertise in <strong>TypeScript, React, and Node.js</strong> with a modern full-stack development approach.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with <strong>Swift or C++</strong> (at least one is required).</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Strongly Preferred:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience delivering <strong>real-time, low-latency features</strong> and performance optimizations at scale.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with <strong>privacy-focused architectures</strong> or real-time data pipelines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience designing and operating <strong>scalable distributed systems / microservices</strong> across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong experience with <strong>CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and delivery infrastructure</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven ability to lead technical decisions, perform code reviews, and shape architectural direction.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with <strong>cross-platform development</strong> or shipping multi-platform features (web, iOS, desktop).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to <strong>audio, voice, or AI technologies</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track record of <strong>mentoring junior engineers</strong> and building high-performing engineering cultures.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Previous experience in a <strong>startup as a technical lead or CTO</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an adjacent technical field.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contributions to <strong>open-source projects</strong> or personal side projects you're proud of.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong CS fundamentals and excellent cross-functional communication skills.</p></li></ul><h3>Location & Work Arrangement</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Location:</strong> Munich, Germany</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Work arrangement:</strong> Hybrid (on-site + remote flexibility)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Visa sponsorship:</strong> Not available</p></li></ul><p>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com">Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
