That means accuracy checking dispensed medicines, keeping standards high, and actively contributing to a culture where getting it right the first time is non-negotiable. You will not be managed through every task. You will be trusted to lead, to spot problems before they become incidents, and to raise the bar for everyone around you.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What will you be doing?</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Carrying out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, ensuring full compliance with legal, operational and safety standards</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Taking ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process — not just your part of it</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintaining clear, accurate prescription records and escalating discrepancies without hesitation</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Actively mentoring junior colleagues and helping to build a team culture rooted in accountability, safety and quality</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Staying sharp on professional development, best practice and regulatory changes — because you want to, not because you have to</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Working with pace and purpose alongside the wider pharmacy team to ensure every patient gets exactly what they need, when they need it</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What do you need?</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC — no exceptions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid, proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and SOPs</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">The kind of attention to detail that you simply cannot switch off</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Someone who communicates directly, takes accountability for their actions, and does not wait to be told what to do</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A genuine, proven commitment to patient outcomes — not just patient care on paper, but real passion for what happens to the person at the end of the process</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Full-time contract:</strong> 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, &amp; Saturdays as either overtime or on a shift basis.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Generous Leave</strong>: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year two) + 8 bank holidays</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Pension Matching</strong>: Up to 5% employer matching contributions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Private Healthcare</strong></p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Flexibility and Wellness</strong>: Work-from-home options, cycle-to-work scheme, and more</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong>: Collaborate across teams and represent Montu at events, with support to grow your skills and impact</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Enhanced Maternity &amp; Paternity Leave</strong></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>About Us</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Montu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM), dedicated to improving patient access to safe and effective treatments.
