Payment, Billing & Commercial Transactions Policy

Effective July 30, 2026 · Last updated July 30, 2026

This Payment, Billing & Commercial Transactions Policy governs payments made through Global Opportunities Hub ("GOH", "we", "us", or "our") for memberships, digital services, employer services, job advertising, recruitment-related services, marketplace services, advertising campaigns, and other services offered through the GOH platform.

This Policy forms part of and must be read together with GOH's existing Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund/Cancellation Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Employer Terms, Recruitment/Agency Terms, Marketplace Terms, and other applicable platform policies. Where a specific service has additional terms, those terms also apply.

1. Authorized Payments

GOH may accept payments for legitimate services made available through the platform, including:

  • Premium memberships and subscriptions;
  • AI and career-related digital services;
  • Employer and business services;
  • Job advertising and vacancy promotion;
  • Recruitment and agency-related services;
  • Marketplace services;
  • Advertising campaigns and promotional placements; and
  • Other lawful digital products or services expressly offered through GOH.

A payment may only be made by the account holder, an authorized representative, or another person who has lawful authority to use the selected payment method.

By submitting a payment, the customer confirms that the transaction is authorized and that the information supplied during checkout is accurate.

2. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers and financial institutions supported by GOH.

GOH may support payment methods, currencies, cards, mobile-money services, bank-based methods, or other payment instruments depending on the customer's country, account, transaction type, and the payment providers available at the time of purchase.

GOH does not store complete payment-card numbers, CVV/security codes, or other sensitive payment credentials where payment processing is handled directly by an authorized third-party payment provider.

Payment providers may independently apply their own verification, authentication, fraud-prevention, transaction limits, currency-conversion rules, and compliance requirements.

3. Payment Authorization and Verification

GOH and its payment providers may perform reasonable verification procedures before approving, completing, or releasing a transaction.

A transaction may be delayed, declined, reversed, suspended, or subjected to additional verification where there is:

  • suspected fraud;
  • unauthorized payment activity;
  • unusual transaction behaviour;
  • inconsistent account or billing information;
  • payment-provider restrictions;
  • sanctions or compliance concerns;
  • chargeback risk;
  • suspected misuse of the platform; or
  • a legal, regulatory, banking, or payment-network requirement.

GOH may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify a transaction or account.

GOH does not guarantee that every payment attempt will be approved.

4. Pricing and Currency

Prices displayed at checkout are the applicable prices for the selected product or service unless otherwise stated.

Where applicable, GOH may display prices in different currencies. The final amount charged may vary because of currency conversion, exchange rates, card-issuer charges, international transaction fees, taxes, or other charges imposed by a customer's financial institution or payment provider.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, charges imposed by a customer's bank, card issuer, mobile-money provider, or other financial institution are the customer's responsibility.

5. Premium Memberships and Subscriptions

GOH may offer paid memberships, subscriptions, credits, plans, or other recurring services.

Where a subscription is recurring, the customer authorizes GOH or its designated payment provider to charge the applicable amount according to the billing frequency presented at checkout.

Customers are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.

If a recurring payment fails, GOH may retry the payment, suspend relevant premium functionality, restrict access to paid features, or terminate the subscription in accordance with the applicable subscription terms.

Cancellation of a subscription prevents future recurring charges where cancellation is completed before the applicable renewal point. It does not automatically create a refund for a period that has already been paid for, except where a refund is required under the applicable GOH refund policy or applicable law.

6. AI and Career Services

Payments for AI, career, educational, professional-development, document-support, assessment, or related digital services are payments for the specific service or access level described at the time of purchase.

GOH may provide automated or AI-assisted outputs. Such outputs may contain errors and are not a guarantee of employment, admission, recruitment, visa approval, professional licensing, income, promotion, or any other particular outcome.

Payment for an AI or career service does not constitute a promise that a customer will obtain a job, interview, employer, contract, admission, visa, or other opportunity.

7. Employer Services

Employers and organizations may purchase services including employer memberships, vacancy posting, recruitment support, candidate-related services, promotional services, employer tools, or other business services.

Payment for an employer service does not guarantee:

  • a specific number of applicants;
  • candidate quality or suitability;
  • successful recruitment;
  • employee retention;
  • interviews;
  • employment contracts;
  • visa approval;
  • work authorization; or
  • any particular hiring outcome.

Employers remain responsible for complying with applicable employment, immigration, recruitment, advertising, consumer-protection, data-protection, and other laws applicable to their activities.

8. Job Advertising

GOH may charge employers, recruiters, agencies, organizations, or other authorized customers for job advertisements, featured vacancies, promoted listings, enhanced visibility, or related placement services.

Payment for job advertising purchases advertising or platform exposure. It does not guarantee applications, interviews, hiring, or placement.

GOH may reject, remove, restrict, edit, suspend, or decline to publish a job advertisement that violates GOH policies, applicable law, platform standards, or reasonable fraud and safety controls.

Where an advertisement is removed because of a policy or legal violation, eligibility for a refund will be determined under the applicable GOH Refund/Cancellation Policy and any applicable law.

9. Recruitment and Agency Services

Where GOH offers recruitment, staffing, candidate sourcing, agency, employer-matching, or related services, the exact service purchased will be determined by the applicable service description, order, agreement, or service terms.

Payment for recruitment or agency-related services must not be interpreted as a guarantee of employment, placement, visa issuance, immigration approval, salary, employer acceptance, or any other particular result unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

GOH will not knowingly facilitate fraudulent employment offers, false documents, impersonation, deceptive recruitment practices, or transactions prohibited by applicable law.

Additional recruitment-specific terms may apply.

10. Marketplace Services

GOH may provide a marketplace through which users, businesses, agencies, or other approved providers offer products or services.

Depending on the marketplace arrangement, GOH may act as a platform, marketplace operator, payment facilitator, service provider, or other intermediary rather than the direct supplier of every third-party product or service.

Third-party sellers or providers remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, delivery, licensing, and fulfilment of their offerings unless GOH expressly states otherwise.

GOH may hold, delay, reverse, or restrict marketplace-related transactions where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute management, compliance, or protection of users and the platform.

Additional Marketplace Terms may apply.

11. Advertising Campaigns

Organizations may purchase advertising campaigns, sponsored placements, promotional listings, banners, video placements, featured content, or other advertising inventory through GOH.

Advertising customers are responsible for ensuring that submitted advertising materials are accurate, lawful, authorized for use, and compliant with GOH advertising requirements.

Payment for advertising does not guarantee a particular number of impressions, clicks, leads, conversions, applications, sales, or other commercial results unless expressly guaranteed in a separate written agreement.

GOH may reject, pause, modify, remove, or discontinue an advertisement that violates applicable law, advertising standards, payment-network requirements, or GOH policies.

Where campaign delivery is affected by technical issues, policy enforcement, inventory availability, fraud controls, or other circumstances, GOH may provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the applicable advertising terms and refund policy.

12. Digital Services

For digital products and services, access may be provided immediately after successful payment.

Because certain digital services may be delivered, activated, consumed, or made available immediately, cancellation and refund rights may be subject to the applicable GOH Refund/Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer-protection laws.

Customers should review the service description, price, billing frequency, renewal conditions, and applicable cancellation terms before completing payment.

13. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, credits, reversals, and service remedies are governed primarily by GOH's existing Refund/Cancellation Policy and the specific terms presented for the purchased service.

Nothing in this Payment Policy removes or limits any mandatory refund, cancellation, consumer, or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where a refund is approved, GOH may normally return funds through the original payment method where technically and legally possible.

Processing times may depend on the payment provider, card network, bank, mobile-money operator, or other financial institution.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact GOH through the designated support channel before initiating a payment dispute where the issue can reasonably be resolved directly.

GOH may investigate disputed transactions and provide transaction records, service records, account information, delivery evidence, communications, or other relevant documentation to payment processors, financial institutions, card networks, or authorized investigators where legally permitted.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions, suspension, termination, recovery of legitimate amounts owed, or other lawful action.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising rights available under applicable law.

15. Taxes, Duties and Government Charges

Customers are responsible for taxes, duties, levies, bank charges, currency-conversion costs, or other governmental or financial charges that may apply to their transaction, except where GOH is legally required to collect or pay such amounts.

Where applicable, taxes may be included in or added to the displayed price according to the customer's location and the nature of the service.

16. Fraud, Money Laundering and Prohibited Transactions

GOH maintains controls designed to reduce fraud, unauthorized payments, money laundering, abuse, and other prohibited financial activity.

GOH may refuse, suspend, hold, reverse, or investigate transactions where there is a reasonable basis to suspect:

  • fraud;
  • stolen or unauthorized payment credentials;
  • identity misrepresentation;
  • money laundering;
  • terrorist financing;
  • sanctions violations;
  • account takeover;
  • payment manipulation;
  • chargeback abuse;
  • prohibited goods or services;
  • illegal recruitment activity; or
  • other unlawful or materially abusive conduct.

GOH may cooperate with payment processors, banks, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, and other authorized entities where required or permitted by law.

17. Account Responsibility

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their GOH accounts and payment-related information.

Customers must promptly notify GOH if they believe their account or payment method has been compromised.

GOH is not responsible for unauthorized transactions resulting from a customer's failure to protect their account credentials or payment method, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Third-Party Payment Providers

Payment processing may involve third-party payment providers.

Those providers may have separate terms, privacy notices, transaction rules, verification requirements, and dispute procedures.

GOH does not control the internal systems of third-party financial institutions and cannot guarantee their availability, processing times, exchange rates, approval decisions, or uninterrupted operation.

19. Service Availability

GOH aims to maintain reliable payment functionality but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Payment functionality may temporarily become unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, payment-provider outages, banking-system interruptions, network failures, security measures, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances outside GOH's reasonable control.

GOH will take reasonable steps to restore affected payment functionality.

20. Changes to Prices and Services

GOH may change prices, plans, services, payment methods, or billing structures from time to time.

Changes will not retroactively alter a completed transaction unless required by law or otherwise agreed with the customer.

For recurring services, applicable changes to future billing will be communicated or presented in accordance with the relevant subscription terms and applicable law.

21. No Guarantee of Commercial Results

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, payment for any GOH service does not guarantee:

  • employment;
  • recruitment;
  • placement;
  • visa approval;
  • immigration approval;
  • admission;
  • income;
  • business revenue;
  • advertising performance;
  • customer acquisition;
  • job applications;
  • interview invitations;
  • marketplace sales;
  • investment returns; or
  • any other particular commercial or personal outcome.

GOH provides platform services and technology. Outcomes may depend on employers, candidates, advertisers, third-party providers, government authorities, financial institutions, market conditions, and other factors outside GOH's control.

22. Compliance with Applicable Law

GOH will operate its payment services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, payment-network requirements, contractual obligations, and reasonable compliance standards applicable to the services and jurisdictions in which GOH operates.

Certain services, transactions, payment methods, or customer locations may be restricted where required by law, payment-provider rules, sanctions requirements, licensing requirements, or GOH's risk controls.

23. Records and Transaction Information

GOH may maintain appropriate records relating to transactions, invoices, payment status, refunds, cancellations, subscriptions, advertising campaigns, service delivery, disputes, and account activity in accordance with applicable law and GOH's Privacy Policy and retention requirements.

Customers may be required to provide sufficient information to enable GOH to identify and investigate a transaction.

24. Contact and Payment Support

Payment-related questions, billing issues, duplicate charges, failed payments, refund requests, or transaction disputes should be submitted through GOH's official support channel identified on the platform.

When contacting support, customers should provide sufficient information to identify the transaction, such as the GOH account, transaction reference, date, service purchased, and relevant payment-provider reference.

Customers should not send complete card numbers, CVV/security codes, passwords, PINs, or other sensitive authentication credentials to GOH support.

25. Policy Hierarchy

This Policy supplements GOH's existing legal and commercial policies and does not replace them.

Where a specific service has additional contractual terms, the service-specific terms will apply to that service to the extent of any inconsistency, subject always to mandatory applicable law.

GOH's existing Privacy Policy governs personal-data processing. GOH's existing Refund/Cancellation Policy governs refund and cancellation eligibility. GOH's existing Terms of Service govern general platform use.

26. Acceptance

By completing a payment through GOH, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed the applicable price, service description, billing frequency where applicable, cancellation terms, and relevant GOH policies and agree to the terms applicable to that transaction.

If the customer does not agree with the applicable terms, they should not complete the transaction.

Global Opportunities Hub (GOH) reserves the right to enforce reasonable payment, fraud-prevention, compliance, and platform-security controls necessary to protect customers, businesses, payment partners, and the integrity of the GOH platform.
