- Passport valid ≥ 6 months beyond arrival date
- Written employment contract in a language you understand
- Exact salary, hours and rest days written in the contract
- Work permit or visa issued in your name, not the recruiter's
- You will keep your own passport at all times
- Return ticket or repatriation clause included
- Embassy contact saved offline before travel
- Family / trusted person has copies of your documents
- No upfront fees paid to any recruiter (illegal in most jurisdictions)
- Employer verified via official government business registry
